Why We Care

We see a beautiful connection between faith and animal welfare. The Bible teaches that humans are stewards of God’s creation (Genesis 1:26-28), and this includes caring for all living beings. Our mission to save pets is an expression of this stewardship, extending compassion to both animals and their owners.
Many people, regardless of their faith, share a deep love for animals. By aligning faith-based principles with animal care, we hope to reach a broader audience, allowing more individuals to connect through a common purpose.

Our Mission

The Millie Jean Rivera Foundation is dedicated to the charitable and educational purpose of spreading God’s word and providing financial support for pet care, specifically for medications and surgeries that extend the lives of pets. We believe that faith and animal welfare are connected through stewardship, compassion, and care for all of God’s creation.

How We Help

Veterinary care, medications, and procedures can be costly, especially for low-income families who may already be struggling to meet their basic needs. These families often face the heart-wrenching decision of saying goodbye to their beloved pets simply because they cannot afford the care they need.

At the Millie Jean Rivera Foundation, we are passionate about helping pets live long, healthy lives. Our goal is to give pet owners as much time with their pets as possible by alleviating the financial burden of necessary medical care.
